RAILWAY BOMB FOR TRAIN

THREAT MADE BY BRETONS. LETTER TO LONDON PAPER. London, Nov. 23. The Daily Mail received a remarkable letter to-day, posted in Paris and signed “Gwen Ha Du,” a name used by the Breton separatists. It explained that the attempt to wreck with a bomb the train on which the Prime Minister, M. Herriot, was travelling on Sunday was a designedly inoffensive guesture, and that every precaution was taken to prevent an accident. “French rulers will be welcome in Brittany only when they restore Breton liberty,” said the letter. “A repetition of the visit may expose them to real danger.” The explosion of the bomb referred to in the cablegram took place at Ingrande-sur-Loire, near Angers, and a portion of the line was blown up. A platelayer dis-, covered the trouble, and, strangely enough, two red lamps, one at each end of the vzrecked section of the line. M. Herriot was on his way to take part in the anniversary of the Union of Brittany and France, wMch took place in 153£. - ■ --.J
