WINNERS OF COMPETITIONS. GOOD MUSICAL PROGRAMME. : Very satisfactory financial results came from the. Christmas fair conducted by the. Manaia Anglican Church (St. Cuthberts) in the town hall - on Tuesday. There was a good attendance both afternoon and evening, and the stalls reported good business. Mrs. O. W. A large party of friends,. both younj and old, of Mr. aind Mrs. C. Murdoch visited the latter’s residence on Monday J night, the occasion being a surprise gif: ! evening for their daughter, Miss Thelmt ' Murdoch, who is shortly to be married ' Cards and dancing prevailed until a late hour.
