TRANSPORT REGULATIONS
AMENDMENTS DISCUSSED.

The draft regulations under the Motor Vehicles Act were discussed at a conference to-day presided over by the Commissioner of Transport, Mr. J. S. Hunter, to receive suggestions of amendments from various bodies. Many points of importance were discussed in an informal way and a good deal of ground was covered; _>
Lighting and braking took .up a good deal of time, owing to the English practice in many cases being not in accordance with the New Zealand regulations.
