DANGER OF THAMES FLOOD
EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH TIDES.
(British Official Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Nov. 28.
Exceptionally high tides and strong squally winds with gusts from 60 to 70 miles an hour caused considerable anxiety last night owing to the danger of the Thames overflowing. Emergency measures were taken to deal with the possibility and a watch was kept in the early hours of the morning. The tide passed full without damage.
