STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS. VINES WINS FROM ALLISON. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Rec. 6.30 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 20. The finals of the New South Wales tennis championships resulted:—E. Vines (U.S.A.) beat W. Allison (U.S.A.) 4—6, 6—l, 2—6, 6—4, 7—5; Mrs. Crawford beat Miss Hartigan, 4—6, 6—4, 6—4; Misses Bickerton and Hartigan beat Misses Dingle and Valkenburg, 7—5, 2—6, 7—5; Allison and J. Van Ryn (U.S.A.) beat Vines and K. Gledhill (U.S.A.), 7—5, 10—8, 6—4. The mixed doubles final was postponed until Monday.
