PRINCES TOUR IRELAND
ENTHUSIASM IN LINEN MILLS. HOSPITAL WARDS VISITED. British Wireless. Rugby, Nov. 18. The Prince of Wales was received with , tremendous enthusiasm when he made a tour of inspection of some of the leading industries of Northern Ireland. The tour included a visit to the linen thread mills at Lisburn and the world’s greatest •» rope factory in Belfast. He was also accorded a great welcome when he appeared in the ex-servicemen’s colony at Cregarth, on the outskirts of Belfast, and later, to the delight of 400 patients, went round several wards of the Royal Victoria Hospital. This evening he made a brief au revoir speech, which was broadcast in Northern Ireland and relayed from English stations.
