PLUNKET SOCIETY MEETS. Mrs. E. Braybrooke presided at the usual monthly meeting of the Inglewood Plunket Society on Monday, when Mesdames E.Crossman, I. E. Faris, I. P. Grant, S. C. Judd, D. McAllister, C. McKinney, G. C. Tait, S. Wanklyn, H. Winter, and the secretary, Mrs. Evans, were also present. Mrs. Braybrooke gave an account of the proceedings at the recent Plunket conference at Wanganui, which was attended without any cost to the society. . The nurse’s report for the month showed that there were five new babies on the books, which made a total of 88 babies and 67 older children under the nurse’s supervision. The nurse had paid 36 visits to homes and four visits to •Inglewood nursing homes; 87 adults, 75 babies and 23 older children had visited the rooms.
