Edmonton, Nov. 7. “The suggestion of a nation-wide farmers’ strike, as made at Rumsey, is significant of the situation in western agriculture at the present time and rhe condition of mind that is developing in consequence,” commented the Premier, Mr. J. E. Brownlee, to-day. “There is sufficient in the situation to cause the best minds in Canada to study what can best be done without resorting to such extreme measures.”
