EAST COAST SHEARING DISPUTE.

It is reported from Whatatutu that picketing by Maoris caused inconvenience. to workers and shearers on’ stations. Two shearers who left one station to secure more men were stopped on the road and, it is alleged, were assaulted. One failed to go back to the station and the other returned under police escort. .
