HAWERA SOCIAL NEWS.
Mies K. Tregoweth, who has completed her maternity training at Westport, is visiting Hawera. Last week’s meeting of the Manaia branch of the Women’s Division was a “bring and buy” afternoon which was quite 'successful. It was decided to assist the tradesmen of Manaia in the entertainment on Christmas Eve and it was decided to make a donation to the maternity home. Mrs. W. T. Wells was hostess.
