BODY IN MOTOR-CAR
FATAL GUNSHOT WOUND. YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHER’S DEATH. The discovery was made on the Wharerangi Road, near Taradale, Napier, on Wednesday afternoon, of the body of Thomas Albert Boston, aged 23, at the steering wheel of a motor-car With a double -barraelled shotgun at his side and a shot wound in his chest. ,D?ceased was resting against the back of the,seat, with one leg on either side of the gear lever. The butt of the gun was resting on the floor. Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Boston, Taradale. He entered business some time ago as a photographer in Napier, and was to have been msrnfla this month. ■ . At four o’clock on Wednesday after noon the car was seen standing on the side of the Wharerangi Road about quarter of a mile from Taradale RoadA passing motorist saw ths car and someone behind the wheel, but did not notice anything amiss. The discovery that Mr. Boston was dead was made subsequently. Both headlamps of the car were burning. The police .were informed, and a doctor and. detectives called. Deceased met with an accident some years ago and lost his right hand.
