DOMINION’S UNEMPLOYED
SLIGHT INCREASE IN WEEK. SMALLEST RISE FOR SOME TIME. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A further increase in the number registered unemployed wae recorded for the week ended on June 13, the total number being 54,122, compared with 54,027 for the previous seven days, an increase of 95. This is the smallest rise in the figures for a number of
weeks. The week’s total includes 40,654 men who were employed on the No. 5 schemo, which left 13,468 standing down or unplaced.
