YEAR’S TOTAL 25 IN BRITAIN PARACHUTE FAILS TO OPEN TWO DEAD. IN NAVAL CRASH _ X By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright Rec. 8.25 p.m. London, June 9. Three Air Force fatalities yesterday increased the year’s death roll to 25. Lieutenants D. Margetts and J. Newsham, flying an aircraft attached to the aircraft-carrier H.M.S. Furious, were killed in an accident on the north-west coast of Scotland. Squadron-Leader L. Fl worthy was killed when his parachute failed to open after he jumped from a big-bomber containing four officers. The engine of the bomber stopped but the pilot made a perfect landing.
