RACE FOR TOURIST TROPHY
DEVONPORT’S RECORD SPEED.

Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, June 8. The Tourist Trophy race for lightweight motor-cycles over the Isle of Man mountain course was won by Davenport with an average speed of 70.48 miles an hour, which is a record for the race. Walker, on a Rudge, was second with a speed of 70.07. Handley, also on a Rudge, with a speed of 60.86 miles was third.
