The excellent display? of Australian and Now Zealand fruit attracted much attention at tire Imperial Fruit Show, held in conjunction with the Horticultural Society’s spring show. \ In the Southern Hemisphere competitions, for Cox’s Orange Pippins J. <*• Kidd (Greytown, New Zealand) was second; for Jonathans, G. McGowan (Scottsdale, Tasmania) was first, and H. H. Stephens (New Zealand) third. Ths Bledisloc Challenge Cup . for New Zealand was won by H. H. Stephens, and 'other challenge cups as follow: Tasmania, W. D. Calverts; mainland ar 1 Australia, Simpson (West Australis)l [New Zealand, H. H. Stephen*.
