SOLICITOR TO TREASURY
NEW POSITION ANNOUNCeO.
APPOINTMENT OF MR. G. G. ROSE.

Wellington, Last Night. It was announced to-day that the Government had decided to create the position of Solicitor to the Treasury. . It is understood this appointment is in accordance with the practice which has been in operation in England for many years. In accordance with the decision the Public Service Commissioner notifies th© appointment of Mr. G. G, Rose, solicitor to the Public Trust Office, Mr. Ros© is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court and ia a graduate of Victoria College, where he obtained the degrees of M.A. (hons.) and LL.B.
