RAHOTU NEWS
(From Our Own Correspondent.) The euchre party held on Monday to raise funds for crockery for the hall was fairly well attended. The first prizes were won by Mrs. Mcßobbie and Mr, David Lewis, the second prizes going to Mrs. Williamson and Mr. °P. Healey.
The community singing evening last week was very successful, although Mr. Stainton and party were missed. Messrs. Buttler and K. Andrews made the singing go pleasantly. Mr. Lineham gave two recitations which were well received. Many parcels were again received for those in need.
The Rahotu A basketball girls lost to Warea by six to three. They played at Wfirea. Okato B played atTlahotu, the Rahotu B team winning by 13 to 5.
