■ Mrs. G. P. Fitzgerald, Eltham, is visiting Mrs. S. H. Wanklyn.
Miss M. Hamerton, who has been the guest of both Mrs. Gaw and Mrs. L. Kirkhy, has returned to New Plymouth.
Mrs. Wagstaff, Ohura, is the guest of Mrs. Gaw.
Mrs. Gaw entertained at bridge on Monday evening. The guest' included Mesdames Gibbs, O’Carroll, Winfield, Faris, lan Grant, Miss James, Mrs. Wagstaff and Miss Hamerton.
Mrs. McKinney entertained at tea on Wednesday. Amongst those present •were Mrs. Faris, Mrs. Winter, Mrs. Torrence, Mrs. Wanklyn," Mrs. Penn and Mrs. A. Grant.
The Norfolk district group of the W.E.A. held its weekly meeting at Miss Trimble’s residence on Thursday evening, when “The Voysey Inheritance” was read. Those taking part were Mesdames Wood, Allen, Adnams, Egarr and Misses Trimble.
Mrs. J. Penn entertained at tea on Monday and Tuesday. Those present included Mesdames Faris; McKinney, Wanklyn, F. Cameron, McAllister, Atkins, A. Grant, J. Grant, Winter, Nicholls, Armstrong, Gibbs, L. Judd, Wagstaff and Gaw.
