£20,000 STATUE DISAPPEARS.

Rec. 11.30 p.m. London, April 17. A sensational art burglary is reported. Thieves at night time entered the Kensington residence of Count Spetia di Radione, an Italian engaged in business in London, and stole a bronze statue of Aphrodite dating 460 B.C. and valued at £20,000, Egyptian gold plate dating 200 B-C. and valued at £3OO, and a quantity of jewellery and antiques.
