, PAPER DEMANDS EXPLANATION.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Vancouver, April 14.
Demanding an explanation of the delay over the New Zealand treaty, the Sun says: “How must New Zealand feel about the Ottawa attitude, after her representatives have been dragged to Honolulu to construct a document to shrivel up in Ottawa’ It is not the first time that New Zealand has suffered. In the 1930 campaign the Conservatives demanded the exchange of New Zealand butter, and Mr. Bennett again insults New Zealand. Canadians demand an explanation.”
