Renewed Communist activity is reported from the province of Fukeen, where the Red armies are threatening Chan (T chow, on the mainland opposite Amoy. Foreigners residing on the mainland, who are mostly missionaries, are preparing to take refuge in Amoy, where the British Consul lias requested the dispatch of a gunboat. The provincial troops are preparing to take the field against the Red invaders.
