Pilot Officer Adrian John Warfordmein, ' aged 22, an Australian, attached as instructor to the Digby Training School, crashed in a single seater Avro which burst into flames at East Winch, West Norfolk, He was killed outright. He was burned beyond recognition. An eye-witness saw the machine fly low and circle twice as though seeking a landing place. It then suddenly nosedived. ■" . - •■ ■ -■ ■
