Mrs. G. H. Mann was hostess at a most enjoyable evening for Miss J. Taylor during the ‘week.
Mrs. Wagstaff, Ohura, is the gues of Mrs. W. Wilson.
Mrs. J. O’Hagan has returned from a trip to Wanganui.
Mrs. I. J. Bridger has returned from Auckland.
. Mrs. Weir is spending a holiday in New Plymouth.
Mrs. Riddle has returned from a motor tour of Auckland and Rotorua.
Miss G. Symes, who has been spending the holidays with her mother, Mrs D. Syme, has returned to New Plymouth.
Mrs. F. Cowell and her youngest daughter, Celine, who have been visiting Mrs. Cowell’s sister, Sister M. St. Francis, Dannevirke, and have been the guests of Mrs. Lewis, have returned home.
Mrs. C. A. Belcher was hostess at tea on Tuesday afternoon. Those present were'‘Mrs. W- Wilson, Mrs. 0. J. Belcher, Mrs. T. B. Crump, Mrs. A. Best, Mrs. Langston, Mrs. H. Belcher, 'Mrs. H. P. Best, Mrs. Wagstaff (Ohura) and Miss E. Belcher.
