Fountain pens which spurt bullets are among the weapons favoured by U.S. gangsters, according to a syllabus of the New York Police College, published in the current issue of the Police Review. The syllabus states that a gunman is easily identified by his bulletproof vest. He is fearful of being captured when armed, and is generally dogged by an accomplice —usually a woman—who carries the gun. Gang leaders are generally killed in trying to finish with crime after making their fortunes. They ar® only safe as long as they stay inside their cars of arm-our-plate and bullet-proof glass, whose doors cannot be opened from the outside.
