SEVEN MEN STILL MISSING. TWENTY-TWO REPORTED SAVED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Oporto, April 13. Elevoar additional survivors of the Rouzie, including the captain, were landed by the Danish steamer Viking. Seven are still missing. The French schooner Rouzie was abandoned in the Bay of Biscay. The crew of 29 put off in eight boats. Three boats were found empty. Eleven of the crew were rescued earlier. Four were picked up by the steamer Deerpool and were landed at Cardiff in a state of collapse after their boat had been tossed like a cork for 48 hours.
The Rouzie’s captain was the last to leave the ship and insisted on going in the smallest boat.
