MEETING OF THE SUBSCRIBERS.

There was a fair attendance at the annual meeting of subscribers to the Bell Block Hall Society on Wednesday ni<*ht. Mr. J. Downs presided. The chairman reported that because of the depression the committee had held only two dances, neither of which was Ve 'nie Pr °balan l S-shcet showed receipts amounting to £62 Bs. 4d., including a credit balance brought forward of £62 Is. Votes of thanks were accorded the president, committee and secretary; the ladies for their assistance and co-opera-tion, and Mr. Pepperill for his services as auditor.
