EXPERTS SUBMIT REPORT WAGE REDUCTION ADVISED i REVISION OF THE TARIFF EMPHASIS ON ECONOMY By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10.30 p.m. , Melbourne, April 13. The unemployment experts’ committee to report to the Premiers’ conference recommends. that the Arbitration. Courts and wage tribunals be authorised to reduce wages over Australia by 10 per cent, where this has not already been done, and that Parliament authorise the Commonwealth Bank so to manage the exchange rate that equilibrium between costs and prices win be achieved as a basis for the restoration of the unemployed. The committee also recommends a systematic revision of the tariff with the Object of promoting employment. It ia emphasised that further efforts towards economies should be insisted on by *ll the Governments.
