HERR HITLER’S AIMS
CONTROL IN GERMANY. STORM TROOPS TO HELP. London, March 14. The leader of the Nazis, Herr Hitler, is now mobilising all his storm troops. His aim is not the Presidency, as victory is now impossible for him, says the Berlin correspondent of the Manchester Gurdian, but the Prussian elections, which have been fixed for April 24. With a majority of of his supporters in the Prussian Diet, Herr Hitler expects to secure eventually the resignation of the Bruening Government, thus necessitating a general election.
In that event, Herr Hitler hopes to obtain control of the army, thus giving him a key position more important than the Presidency. If Herr Hitler gains power he will transfcim the Prussian police into Fascist militia and make the army a Praetorian guard.
After that he will abandon constitutionalism and attack the trades unions and Socialist and Communist movements.
