DARTMOOR PRISON MUTINY
CHARGES AGAINST 32 CONVICTS.
PRECAUTIONS IN COURTROOM.

Ree. 8.30 p.m. London, March 8. Thirty-two Dartmoor prison convicts to-day paraded' under a strong guard before Superintendent Smith and were formally charged with offences arising out of the mutiny on January 25. Laid under the Malicious Damage Act, some of the charges are collective and others are individual.
The hearing will be taken to-morrow before a magistrate at the prison, when the accused men will be remanded to appear on March 16 at the Town Hall, Primietown, where convicts are constructing a large dock to accommodate all the accused men. There will be a strong guard and the chairs and benches will be bolted to the floor as a precaution against a possible outbreak of violence.
The accused men are still in solitary confinement, except for daily exercise.
