ADVERTISING IN GLASGOW. SPECTACULAR DISPLAYS MADE. With the object of stimulating the interest of the Scottish public in Empire produce and the development of reciprocal trade with the Dominions a series of spectacular displays of New Zealand produce were made early in January in Glasgow and Edinburgh. The effect was organised by the Clyde Trust, through its commercial department, in conjunction with the Edinburgh branch of the Overseas League, which has done much to interest the housewife in Empire products, and leading traders in both cities.

Direct shipments of Empire foodstuffs to Glasgow are increasing, the tonnage last year being higher than ever in the .past, _
