NOT ALLOWED TO LAND.

Wellington, March 9. Brought back on the Maunganuj, Herbert Clifford Love and Ronald Nelson Williams, both aged 19, who stowed away bn the Canadian Highlander at Dunedin on February 22, came before Mr. E. Page, S.M., to-day. It was stated that they were not allowed to land at Sydney, and were brought back at the expense of the' own» ers of the Canadian Highlander. Williams was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months. Love was fined £5, in default 21 days’ imprisonment.
