In a billiards match Newman has scored 18,184, including breaks of 390 and 345 unfinished. Lindrum has scored 15,676, including a break of 1111 compiled in 3'5 minutes. He reached the 1000 in 32 minutes, equalling his record, which he ’failed to break owing to his control being less effective than is customary. He fluked potting the red at 939. His other breaks were 641. 478 and 761.
