Kilmistar (Wellington) met Tom Farndon (England) in the best two of three international races. Kilmister won the first two, with the result that the third was not .staged. The winner clipped 1 l-'ssec off his previously created record of S2sec. Other results are: — Salver Sash: H. Tolley 1, R. Vining 2, R. Weston 3; time, Imin 29 2-osec.
