WOOL PRICES HARDENING
STRONG DEMAND AT SYDNEY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 9.30 p.m. Sydney, Jan. 12. At the wool sales to-day 10,73 S bales were offered and 10,349 were sold, also 498 which were disposed of privately. A very strong demand prevailed, prices showing a further hardening tendency for all descriptions. American buyers displayed greater activity. Greasy Merino made to I7d.
