During the past two or three summers a great increase of interest in summer golf has been shown, says the Christchurch Times. This season more players than ever are making use of their courses, and many parties go regularly to the links. Clubs have made further effort, and courses are in better condition for summer play this year than at any time in the past. Although the seasons have been officially closed by the clubs some of them are conducting scratch comuetitions. . -
