JOCKEY CLUB AFFAIRS
ARRANGEMENTS FOR FEBRUARY. The Taranaki Jockey Club Committee met in New Plymouth last night. Present: Messrs. L. A. Nolan (chairman), A. R. Standish, W. T. Hookham, J. Scanlon, J. McLeod, W. C. Weston and W. D. Graham. Arrangements for music for the February meeting was left in the liands of the sub-committee; also arrangements for a loud speaker. The catering committee was authorised to make°arrangements. Two new members were elected. Stewards _ were appointed for the February meeting. It was decided that the secretary should attend the Wellington races in the interests of the club.
