PHAR LAP HAS TOP WEIGHT
AGUA CALIENTE HANDICAP. forty-three horses weighted. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7 p.m. San Diego, Jan. 11. Phar Lap drew the highest weight, 9.3, assigned to the 43 horses entered for the Agua Caliente Handicap on March 20. Next in order in the weights are Plucky Play 8.8, Doctor Freeland 8.8, Wotan 8.7, Reville Boy 8.6, Spanish Play 8.5, Marine 8.2. Among the 12 entrants withdrawn were Canfli, Sure Fire, Pansy Walker, Sidney Grant, Polydorus and Hillsborough. Twenty-eight horsea are now gathered in. Mexico or California for training.
