TARANAKI TROTTING CLUB
• MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the committee of the Taranaki Trotting Club was held on Monday night, there being present Messrs. W- C. Weston (president), J. Sceats, F. Price, F. Reston, R. Marr, E. Jackson and A. Avery. The resignation of Mr. D. J. Wallace was received, on account of his removal to Auckland, and his- place on; the committee was filled by the appointment of Mr. P. E. Stainton. The resignation of Mr. C. H. Weston as a member of the club, on account of his removal to Auckland, was also received and accepted. Notification was received that .moneys refunded througn the totalisator were not subject to deductions. 7 It was notified also' that a special meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Conference would be held at Wellington on January 21. Mr. W. C- Weston was appointed the club’s delegate. The question of whether : the club should race for two days or one day-at the next meeting was discussed, 1 and the decision on the matter was postponed for a further meeting to be held after the Wellington conference.
