CHRISTMAS EVE AIR MAIL
WELLINGTON-AUCKLAND FLIGHT.
TWO STOPS IN TARANAKI.
The Christmas Eve air mail from Wellington to Auckland will make two stops in°Taranaki, according to the amended timetable, one at Hawera and one at New Plymouth. ’The aeroplane carrying the mail will leave Wellington at 7.30 a.m., Palmerston 'North at 8.45 a.m., Wanganui 9.30 a.m., Hawera 10.20 a.m. and New Plymouth 11.30 a.m., arriving at Auckland about 1.45 p.m. Mails at New Plymouth will close at 9.30 a.m., and at Hawera about 8 a.m.. Articles sent by air-mail must bear in addition to tho ordinary postage an airmail fee of 3d per oz or fraction thereof. Any postal article except parcels will be accepted for despatch by air-mail. Articles may also be registered.
