The Department of Internal Affairs has agreed to consider the proposal of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society for a month's protection of deer in the Rakaia Forest, prior to the opening of the stalking season, on the understanding that the concurrence of the runholders should be obtained, and that the society continued eatisfactorily to deal with deei’ in the forest.
A man brought his suit to our shop to be renovated and stated that if it was cleaned and pressed satisfactorily six of his mates would also have their’s done.
