PROFICIENCY EXAMINATIONS TARANAKI FIGURES ANALYSED There were 10 per cent, fewer pupils successful in gaining their proficiencies in the Taranaki Education Boards district this year than last year.. A total of 1'202 candidates presented themselves this year, of whom 86’2, or 71.7 per cent-, passed.
