DAMAGE TO TWO SHIPS
STORM & BREEZE AT LYTTELTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Dec. 19. The Breeze, which struck the beach at Port Robinson, discharged her cargo in a dry condition this morning. She will be docked on Monday. The damage is believed to be very slight. The Storm, which also struck * rock at Akaroa, it appears, fared worse than the Breeze. One plate was perforated on the port side, near the bow, and the rivets on a number of plates were sheared off. The nature of the abject she struck off Akaroa is unknown.
