CUT NOT RETROSPECTIVE

Montreal, Deo. 18. > The Labour Department at Ottawa has ruled that the 10 per cent, cut in wages of the railway running traces must not be made retrospective. The railways had announced that the cut recently recommended in the majority report of the Conciliation Board would be retrospective to November 15.
