“LOW-CLASS UNION AGITATION* CANTERBURY BOARD EMPHATIC. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Oct. 16. A meeting of the Canterbury Education Board to-day decided that the leaflet dated September, 1931, issued by the New Zealand Federation of Teachers, had been circulated without authority and must be withdrawn. One member, Mr. R. Wild, said: “This circular is the sort of thng you get in low-class trades union- It is.a' form of agitation, and is not the sort of thing vou wjll expect from professional men of the status of secondary school teachers.” .> ‘ ."'■'.
