WANGANUI MAN REMANDED. CITY COUNCIL SINKING FUNDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Oct. 5. William Mitchell was charged this morning wth the thefts of £375 and £25 10s 9d, the property of the Wanganui City Council sinking fund commission* er, and £199 2s Id the property of the council. He was remanded till October 12. Bail was allowed in one surety «f £3OO and two of £l5O.
