A aevere earthquake was experienced at Saitama, 60 miles north of Toklfls, at 11.20 this morning. Communications with the capital are interrupted. Tokio was severely shaken. A tunnel on the Karuizawa railway collapsed. Some damage was caused to buildings in Yokohama where a number of wale?” mains burst. Eleven people are reported killed Inland from Tokio. .'
