ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY
TARANAKI COUNCIL MEETS, A meeting of the council of the Taranaki Acclimatisation Society was held at New Plymouth last night, when there were present; Messrs W. R. Johns (chairman), F. Whitcombo, E. Maetzig, A. Little, T. Wilson, F. N. Baker, J. G. Morrall and Dr. P. Adamson. It was decided that hatching should bo carried on next season and thau no action be taken in regard to the appointment of a curator. * The secretary reported, that the lorryhad been disposed of by the sub-com-mittce for £3’s. It was decided, to tliank Messrs Cook and Lister for the donation of a trophy for the heaviest trout caught during the coming season.
