SELF-SUPPORTING.
An Aberdeen man’s dog seized a joint of meat while hie master was visiting his friend’s house. “Is that your dog?” asked the man angrily. “It was,” replied his friend cautiously, “but he’s keeping himself now.” *"•••• The small company of club members were cracking jokes. “Can anyone tell me the difference between a Scotsman and a coconut ? asked one of the company. After a while, and as there was no answer forthcoming, the speaker decided to supply the answer. . “Well,” he said, “you can get a drink out a coconut.”
