MOTUROA DRUIDS
SOCIAL AND MEETING. The quarterly meeting of the Moturoa Lodge, United Ancient Order of Druids, was held on Monday evening, when ArchDruid Brother Petheridge presided over a large attendance of New Plymouth members and visitors from Stratford, Inglewood and Waitara. After the lodge business had been transacted the evening was given over to a social and dance. Musical items were given by Brother E. Edgecombe (violin solo), Sister Hazel Richardson * (elocutionary items), Brother Les Higi ginsdn (song), Mr. Booth (whistling ■ solo). The music for the dancing was : provided by the lodge orchestra eom- | prising Brothers Williams, Edgecombe | and Brewster. Extras were played by I Brother Sampson, Waitara. Past District 1 President Brother H. W. Broad was the 1 master of ceremonies. Supper was. prqI sided by the ladies. It is hoped to have | similar functions at least once a quar- [ ter. j
