Wellington, Last Night. . A- petition signed . by. the Mayor of Gisborne and 8400 citizens praying for the resumption of woii’k on the Waiko-kupn-Gisborne railway was presented by Mr. IV. D. Lysnar (Independent, Gisborne) to the House of. Representatives this afternoon. petitions praying for the abolition of the gift coupon system and further petitions relating to the Trading toupoiis Bill were referred to the Industries and Comit :rce Committee.
